Marky Mark Wahlberg and Kate Moss for Calvin Klein.

I am to critique three fashion advertisements, from any era, and from a range of fashion market sectors.

Calvin Klein ads are classic with so much to discuss. This aired when I was a baby and seems relatively safe compared to more recent fashion ads (for instance Jamie Dornan and Eva Mendes for Calvin Klein). I find this ad both sexy and cheesy. Wahlberg and Moss look incredible and the rapping’s great but his dance moves are weird and associate the ad with a different time. Another version mentions Aids, which further associates it in the past. The panic over this disease is not something my generation can understand.
